The Art of Knowing

In the current world, the curse of knowing has been planted in us. But what if there is an art of not knowing that no one taught us? And part of our work is to teach ourselves to unlearn and and trek into the unknown, which goes against all our formal education.

While we were told to trust forces outside ourselves like corporations or governments, when we start seeing under the veil, we understand that anything done with force is unhealthy for our wellbeing. Often, things are not what they seem. And the question is, do we allow ourselves to not only see but also take action.

Sometimes, the most challenging decisions in life involve knowing when it’s time to let go, move on, and exit a situation. Whatever the cause, recognizing the signs and having the courage to take that step is liberating and transformative. And is totally in our hands.

Trusting our intuition is an essential part of this process. Our intuition is a powerful guide, and when we have a nagging feeling that something isn’t healthy for us, it’s important to pay attention. Our inner wisdom is trying to tell us that it’s time to reevaluate our current situation.

It’s also important to assess our emotional wellbeing. Are we constantly feeling drained, unhappy, or unfulfilled? It’s crucial to prioritize our mental health and acknowledge when something is no longer serving us. Life is too short to stay in situations that deplete our energy.

Another aspect to consider is our curiosity Are we still learning, growing, and evolving? If we’ve hit a plateau or feel stagnant, it may be time to seek healthy opportunities that energize us.

The Art of Knowing When to Make Space

Of course, leaving a situation can be difficult, especially when we’ve invested in it. But sometimes, the most important part of personal growth is knowing when to walk away. It’s an art to recognize when it’s time to move on and no longer do anything at our own expense.

It’s essential to stay true to ourselves and make decisions that support our holistic wellbeing.

What if we actually have choices? While the Clash sing, “should I stay or should I go?” giving their power to choose to someone else, the truth is that it is really up to us to discern. Who has not had our hearts broken or experienced disappointment? And what if how we react is entirely in our inner knowing? And we heal in our own way.

Knowing when to leave and exit is a crucial aspect of our health and being an opportunity-creator. Often, walking away from something opens the door to a healthier reality, especially when we invest the time in unlearning, learning and growing.
