Being the Magnet

Imagine a world where we each embody a magnet of our truth by becoming self-aware. This magnet doesn’t pull random objects, but aligns us with our deepest desires and values. Instead of passively waiting to be chosen, we actively draw towards ourselves what truly energizes and fulfills us.

Moving beyond societal conditioning involves discovering our true self. Unlearning is inherently disruptive. It challenges us to peel away the layers of learned behaviors and beliefs that have shaped our interactions with the world. This self-examination is a crucial step in embracing our authentic self, free from the constraints of past conditioning.

And it’s healthy to move away from toxicity. If friends and family push us to act against our values, we can chart our own course.

We are indeed the architects of our lives, actively choosing our own direction. When we grasp what and who energizes us, we come alive in environments that value us genuinely, eliminating the need for pretense.

You face a choice between a high-paying job and a lower-paying one that aligns with your passions. The magnet mindset guides you towards the job that offers more fulfillment, despite its lower pay.

You decide whether to maintain old friendships that no longer align with your values or to cultivate new ones that do. As your own magnet, you gravitate towards people who are healthy and accept you as you are.

From Ordinary to Magnetic

Carrying heaviness, grief, anger, and fear tends to attract more of these feelings into our lives. Conversely, embracing harmony, awareness, and openness shapes our perspective. Being present and aware sharpens this lens, enhancing our focus and understanding of our experiences.

In every situation, prioritize what makes you feel most alive and appreciated. Recognize when distancing from negative influences benefits you and embrace opportunities that, while initially daunting, ultimately align with your deeper aspirations. And remember we never stop learning. The lessons keep showing up. But how we respond is our choice.

Life is not a path laid out for you, but a landscape full of possibilities, drawing towards you the experiences and relationships that enrich your life.

Never settle. Instead, be that magnet that attracts a life rich in choice, creativity, courage and connection.

In the next 20 years, the external world will change dramatically. And this change calls for the emergence of your unique self and ideas. Embrace the role of a trailblazer and venture beyond conventional thinking.

During this period, boldly challenge norms, guided by your inner spark of genius. This is a time to trust in your creativity and heart, breaking free from outdated rules to forge healthy magnetic paths and make life changing contributions.

“Be wild; that is how to clear the river. The river does not flow in polluted, we manage that. The river does not dry up, we block it. If we want to allow it its freedom, we have to allow our ideational lives to be let loose, to stream, letting anything come, initially censoring nothing. That is creative life. It is made up of divine paradox.

To create one must be willing to be stone stupid, to sit upon a throne on top of a jackass and spill rubies from one’s mouth. Then the river will flow, then we can stand in the stream of it raining down.”―Clarissa Pinkola Estés
